Jerry and Sandi Noble transitioned to organic in 2004, returning much of their acreage to pastureland. In many ways, the transition
recreated methods Jerry learned when he started farming in the 1950's. In Sandi's words: "We're going backwards as fast as we can."
"It's been a real blessing for us. Before, we were running equipment all day, tractors and choppers, and there were always breakdowns. It creates
a lot of stress and tension. Going organic has taken a lot of that away."
