Heat olive oil and garlic in a large skillet. Add ground beef and sausage and sauté until browned and cooked through. Drain fat and set meat mixture aside. In a large pot, combine tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano. Add meat mixture and simmer one hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare noodles according to package directions. In a medium bowl combine cottage cheese and eggs. To assemble lasagna: Spread a small amount of sauce in the bottom of a 13 by 9-inch pan. Later 6 noodles follwed by half of shredded mozzarella, half of the cottage cheese mixture and half of the tomato sauce. Repeat layers, ending with tomato sauce, and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 45-60 minutes until brown and bubbly.
