Pre-heat oven to 450°F and grease an 8-by-8 baking dish with 1-2 tablespoons of butter. In a mediume bowl, whisk together eggs, half and half and cottage cheese together thoroughly. Pour mixture into the greased baking pan. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the mixture. Bake for about 20 minutes until the top is lightly browned.
