BROOMFIELD, Colo. (Feb. 2, 2006) -- Horizon Organic, the nation's leading organic dairy brand, announced today that it is launching a newly designed website that has been refreshed to provide consumers a one-stop source of information about organic dairy products.
The re-launched website, www.horizonorganic.com, available immediately, fits into the brand's mission to expand organic agriculture to ensure everyone is able to buy high-quality, great-tasting products that are produced without the use of antibiotics, added growth hormones and dangerous pesticides.

The website offers information about what defines organic, the National Organic Standards, the environmental and health benefits of organic foods, and a store locator to find retailers that carry Horizon Organic products. The site will also have an extensive listing of organic recipes, making it easy for anyone to get cooking with organic food!
"As a mom, I know it's not always easy to get kids to eat well," Lintonsmith said. "This website helps make it easy for moms to find the recipes and tips they need to incorporate organic food into their family's every day lives."
We also have a "For Farmers" section which serves as a resource for our more than 325 family farmers who supply 75 percent of our organic milk. In addition, farmers interested in transitioning to organic can learn about our HOPE (Horizon Organic Producer Education) program and resources for converting.
